By the time you’re reading this, I’ll be en route to the ConnectWise Conference!

IT Nation is always a fantastic opportunity to learn about the latest updates, tools, and best practices for optimizing ConnectWise. Read on to see which sessions I recommend, my podcast debut, and a deep dive into RPA tools to supercharge automation.

At IT Nation, there are so many announcements, workshops, breakout sessions and fireside chats, it’s hard to know what to focus on. If you’re attending in person, or you have a virtual badge, here are the sessions I’ve been recommending the most to my clients:

#1 - All About Asio

Asio is the new ConnectWise platform available to most cloud-based users of ConnectWise. Primarily, it offers ‘reimagined’ screens (think: cleaner and more user-friendly) along with some functionality tweaks to improve PSA performance. Any session covering Platform Updates or Asio Roadmaps is a safe bet!

#2 - Reporting

ConnectWise has numerous reporting options, and IT Nation is the best place to get hands-on, in-depth demos of these tools. #3 - Don’t skip the Meet Ups! (In Person Only)

Some of the most valuable learnings come from speaking to other end users of ConnectWise - take some time to find a meet-up specific to your Industry or Role, bring your business cards, and meet other people who are in the system every day with the same frustrations as you.

Remember how I always say I’m not a podcast person? Well, on a completely unrelated (and not ironic) note, I’ll be talking about the importance of Procurement on the IT Nation Wise Up Podcast.

We’ll record at the conference on Thursday at 2 p.m., where I’ll be sharing how effective procurement management has a significant impact on customer satisfaction and service delivery. If you’re at the conference, stop by the podcasting booth and say hi!

This week at IT Nation, I'm especially excited to attend ConnectWise’s session on Robotic Process Automation (RPA). For those who may not be familiar, RPA is a powerful way to streamline and automate repetitive tasks, making back-office processes simpler and stress-free. By automating these workflows, you can free up valuable time, reduce errors, and allow teams to focus on more impactful work.

I’m always looking for ways to optimize and make workflows more efficient, and RPA is a game-changer for tasks that are time-consuming but necessary, like data entry, invoice processing, and ticket updates. Hopefully the session on Thursday has some great insights!
