Next week, I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be attending IT Nation in Orlando, ConnectWise’s annual conference! This year promises to be packed with insights, innovations, and industry connections. And in an exciting twist, Tony Hawk is the keynote speaker.
I wonder what he’s up to these days. 😅

This week, I’ll be posting a video diving into my favorite ConnectWise tips and tricks, including a few time-saving techniques that might just change your day-to-day workflow.
Tech Task of The Week
As we gear up for IT Nation next week, one of the most talked-about topics will be ASIO—ConnectWise’s new platform designed to centralize and streamline your operations. ConnectWise is placing a big focus on ASIO at the event, with dedicated sessions, Q&As, and expert speakers covering all aspects of this next-generation platform.
Since ConnectWise is heavily advocating ASIO, I highly recommend ensuring that your organization has ASIO activated and ready to go. Take some time to explore two powerful new modules:
Procurement Module: This tool makes it easier to manage purchases and streamline vendor communications, which can save time and reduce errors in your order processes.
Project Management Module: Designed to optimize workflows, this module provides robust features for tracking, collaboration, and real-time insights, essential for any team handling complex projects.

Circuit Break: A Minute of AI
Since you’ve gone through all that trouble to set up SSO to enable ASIO, what else can you do now that you have SSO turned on in your ConnectWise PSA System?
Well, this week we are looking at ConnectWise Sidekick - an AI add-on to ConnectWise PSA. In their own words, it’s “Powerful PSA Machine Learning and AI.”
The biggest benefit I see is on the Service Ticket side - where it can ‘learn’ and suggest the Type, Subtype, and Item for your ticket, as well as do a customer sentiment analysis.
So what do you need to enable this?
Well, you’re going to need a SEPARATE, ADDITIONAL ConnectWise Sidekick subscription.
This involves talking to your Account Manager, and at the time of writing this, I haven’t heard back on pricing yet ☹️
